Grief Support Groups
People are often afraid to talk about grief or talk to the person who is grieving. This oftentimes leaves the bereaved feeling very much alone. There is a common misconception among folks that if you mention the loss to the person grieving, you will somehow remind them of that loss and ‘ruin their day’. The trouble is that people who are grieving are also wanting to be acknowledged and feel supported. At Me-time Healing, we understand the delicate process of grief and the waves of emotions that it brings. With that in mind we offer three specific grief groups. Please call for an assessment and a referral to attend.
**Grief Support: This group being held on the Thursday’s at 2pm and is appropriate for anyone who is experiencing grief and loss over a loved one. Space is limited so please call Stacy Jo (561.247.4346) for an assessment and a referral.
**Child Loss: This group is private and is appropriate for any bereaved parent experiencing grief over the loss of their child at any age and at any time. The loss of a child has been called the Worst Loss. We at Me-time want to be sure you receive the compassionate support you need during this unimaginable time. Please call for an assessment and a referral and for group details.
**Loss to Suicide: This group is private and is appropriate for anyone who has lost someone they loved to suicide. There is a uniqueness in the grief that is experienced when you are left as the Survivor of Suicide. This is the place to come and speak freely about your loss. Please call for an assessment and a referral and for group details.
